Team Berlin 1 was founded in 1994 and is the most successful Synchro team in Germany, with 15 German Championship titles.
All for one and one for all - we skate as one team and we also fight as one team. The ice rink is our second home.
We have five to seven training sessions a week in order to achieve our goal. Only through intensive training will Team Berlin 1 be successful! All this demands absolute discipline, strong willpower and a lot of personal sacrifices. But these are also our important characteristics, without which we would never have reached that far, and which are supposed to take us even further.
We improve our choreographic and artistic formations on ice and in the ballet hall. There, we also train and enhance the expressiveness of our famous difficult figures and artistic lifts. All these components are analysed regularly with the help of video recordings. In addition to this, Andrea Dohany, the Swedish coach of “Team Surprise“, which has won international championships for several times, is particularly supporting Team Berlin 1 (Germany 1) in improving its choreography.
We especially train in the execution and implementation of choreography (CH), interpretation (IN) and performance/execution (PE) as we have repeatedly lost points in these areas in comparison to the world leaders. In the end, the complex step sequences, precise movements and absolute synchronicity that teams can pull off easily and in a playful manner is precisely the art of Synchronized skaters.
Team Berlin 1 (Germany 1) regularly looks for ambitious and excellent young ice-skaters. We welcome young athletes with profound experience in ice-skating, who are able to work in a team successfully and who like going on tour, to participate in a test training session with us.
We are looking forward to every ice-skating addict! Please contact us and perhaps you will be invited to one of our test training sessions!
