The first junior team in Germany was founded in 1995 in Berlin. Formerly called “Silver Shadows”, now known as “Team Berlin Juniors” the are already 9 times German Junior champions.

Gert Hofmann, a former skater and now coach of Tema Berlin 1 has trained the junior team since the 2003/2004 season.

Team Berlin 1 is very proud of its juniors. And it is very likely that a junior skater will be a future member of Team Berlin 1. Some previously successful juniors are now master skaters in Team Berlin 1. From the specific training of the younger skaters both teams are benefited with junior skaters being promoted over the next few years.
